Sandblasted Manzanita & Purple Hydrangea
Sandblasting manzanita exposes the ivory interior of manzanita, often revealing beautiful red and brown swirls that make this wood unique. The process removes much of the smaller branches, so the look is bit sparse in comparison to natural manzanita. The look is clean and elegant, and the branches can be decorated in nearly color scheme.
This project:
Manzanita: 24"-30" Sandblasted Manzanita
Flowers: Purple Hydrangea (silk, with leaves)
Accents: Iridescent lucite beads on stems
Base: 6" x 6" x 4" black wooden box, covered with crinoline.
Base fill: Purple Hydrangea.
